Hiking
The old Aspös pilotage tower rises above any obstacle that might block the view of the entrance to Karlskrona Harbour, which is historically heavily secured and provided with numerous artificial obstacles. Due to the narrow passage through the archipelago, an observation tower was required for Aspö pilots in the last few centuries. If necessary, you could then quickly walk from here to the lower-lying jetty with the pilot boats, where there is still a tiny pilot museum today (2022). Unfortunately, the tower can no longer be climbed privately as part of a holiday apartment complex.

At the pilot tower there is also a bike rental with which you can easily explore the island.
