The Gorges of Sagittario are located between Anversa degli Abruzzi and Scanno. Coming from Antwerp the road is slightly but sweet and steady uphill. About halfway to our right the Lake of San Domenico appears in all its beauty, which with its turquoise waters invites us to a stop along its banks.

Anversa degli Abruzzi, a small and charming town located in the province of L'Aquila, in Abruzzo. In fact, in addition to the beautiful medieval center, the territory also includes the "Gole del Sagittario" nature reserve and the charming village of Castrovalva.
