Hiking

Ruins of Pieniny Castle. The first records of it are from the 14th century about Princess Kinga and nuns who hid here during the Mongol invasion at the end of the 13th century. She most likely built the castle as a hideout in the then inaccessible Pieniny Mountains.

There is a good information board about the castle: everything looks very dramatic and historical.
