    Hiking

From this bridge, you leave the village of El Chorro behind and you can see the Tajo de la Encantada reservoir that meanders until it reaches the foot of the Caminito del Rey gorge. Also from here you can see the cave that is part of the enormous Frontales climbing sector.

The Tajo de la Encantada Dam, located in the municipality of Álora, Málaga, is a notable hydroelectric infrastructure in Spain. It was completed on December 31, 1978 and was designed with two reservoirs at different levels, linked by a large pipeline. It is one of the largest reversible hydroelectric plants in Spain and is part of an integrated system that includes other plants in the Guadalhorce River bed and two more on the Rio Grande.
