This monument was erected in Flöha's district of Falkenau at the Black Bridge. It is reminiscent of medieval mining and the smelter of 1587. The site of the excavation site could not be preserved in an uncovered form because it was intended for flood protection measures. The memorial, the information boards on both sides remind of the history of mining and are part of the mining educational trail in Falkenau.
