At 2002 meters, the Vordere Kessel Schneid is the highest peak in the Zahmer Kaiser, but it does not even have its own summit cross - the neighboring Pyramidenspitze is too popular. You can reach the Kessel Schneid relatively easily over a grassy ridge, a "Stoamandl" marks the highest point. The view of the Pyramidenspitze and the Walchsee, as well as the Wilder Kaiser and the following peaks of the Zahmer Kaiser is impressive.
Here you can enjoy the Kaisergebirge alone and in peace and can also claim to have conquered a 2000er (in contrast to the Pyramidenspitze).
