Hiking
This year, the University of Arizona Archaeological Institute resumed systematic excavations at Segesta, which are expected to continue over the next few years, to unearth and access new "buildings" believed to still exist underground. It is very interesting to watch the students and the 3 professors doing their little work.

Hiking
The path is completely free of shadows. But a third of the way up there is a small exhibit in shady, air-conditioned rooms. Regardless of whether the artifacts on display interest you or not, the shade will be welcome for anyone who has decided to skip the bus.
