You can stop here to see the lake from the railway line. It is located quite a bit lower down and surrounded by many trees.

🏞️ View of the limestone lake in Holdorf
The lake is a former limestone quarry, whose steep banks, wooded slopes, and often turquoise water create a charming, almost canyon-like landscape. The "Baumelbank" (a bench with a tree-like structure) offers a beautiful view of the lake from an elevated position.
