Göçbeyli is a neighborhood of Pendik district of Istanbul province. However, it is closer to Gebze, to which it was affiliated until 1951, and to Tuzla, with which it had economic relations. It neighbors the Bıçkıdere villages of Şile to the north, the Ovacık and Kadilli villages of Gebze to the east, the Akfırat district of Tuzla to the south, and the Ballıca villages of Pendik to the west.
