Hiking

It is not a salt works, but a graduation tower. A graduation tower is a plant for salt extraction. It consists of a wooden frame that is filled with bundles of brushwood (mainly black thorn).

Hiking

The two graduation towers in the Staffelsteiner Kurpark exude an aerosol that smells of the sea. This creates a "sea air breeze" in a natural way. The double-winged graduation towers in the spa gardens are a so-called "open-air inhaler". The atomization of the saline brine creates a health-promoting climate around the graduation works. The aerosol contains the minerals of the brine, which can be used for prevention or for curative treatments.

Hiking

We were over 30 degrees yesterday, the water is dripping down the side and you can sit down in the shade and watch the drops of water.
