Neoclassical palace built in C19 by the Silberstein merchant family who owned the then Malkwitz village. Before WWI it passed into the hands of Steuers with whom it remained until 1939. After WWII it was nationalised and housed the employees of the local state-owned collective farm. Sadly the palace, its outbuildings and the surrounding park are currently abandoned and in disrepair.
