Hiking
The immense Dewulf dune extends over nearly 300 hectares in the municipalities of Leffrinckoucke, Ghyvelde and Zuydcoote. It is home to a great diversity of fauna and flora, and has significant ecological value.
There are also military defense works on the site. Built during the 19th century, they were transformed by the Germans during the Second World War.

Hiking
The Dewulf Dune is a very beautiful hilly dune landscape on the Leffrinkhoeke coast. There are also many bunkers of the Atlantic Wall near Dunkirk (Dunkerque). Scenes for the movie "Dunkirk (2017)" were also filmed here.
