I love this place.
A descent leads to the ford on the river from every side. From the north side, it is quite overgrown, especially in summer. The descent itself is interesting enough that it tempts you to speed up, but you have to be careful because you could end up in the river. Sometimes the road is flooded more, sometimes less. No matter how much, you can always get across on the side with the big trees. There is a path there. On the main current, there are usually logs thrown across that you can walk on.
