The Berchtesgaden National Park in the municipalities of Ramsau near Berchtesgaden, Schönau am Königssee and Berchtesgaden in the Berchtesgaden Alps in the Bavarian district of Berchtesgadener Land is the only German national park in the Alps.
The national park, founded in 1978, has an area of 208 km² and is part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Berchtesgadener Land.
