Surrounded by impressive rocks, this old mill nestles in the eastern Ourthe valley. A nice stop to stop off on a mountain bike tour through the high Ardennes.

Lovely place with friendly host! We would have loved to try the tasty looking pizzas from the wood oven but we had to keep going. The MTB course then goes up steeply between the dilapidated caravans to the top!

The Rocher de Bistain is a striking slate and sandstone outcrop near the village of Bistain (Gouvy), situated at the confluence of the Ourthe Orientale and the Ruisseau de Rettigny rivers. It is a tranquil nature reserve with reptiles and historically interesting due to its former Celtic settlement.
