Approximately 200 meters from the turn-off, the Himmelfahrt artificial ditch built in 1844/1845 bridges the railway line (note the sign), which supplied the Himmelfahrt treasure trove with surcharge water (ore laundry pond, cf. also Himmelfahrt treasure trove). It branches off from the Hüttenteich south of Zug and still supplies the commercial area and companies in the east of Freiberg with industrial water.
