On a green area in front of house number 30: A monument to the builders of the then new city district, designed in 1988 by Karl Hillert with the help of Karl-Günter Möpert,[6] was erected in front of the Marzahner Tor department store in 1990. The three meter high bronze sculptures depict two construction workers who are currently taking an observation position. The monument only came to its current location in 2005.
