The escarpment that overlooks the Eyre Bird Observatory.
This is the spot where the volunteers will pick you up if you have arranged a ride. There is parking here etc...
Beyond this point the track turns to sand and is unrideable on anything other than the fattest tyres. Beware that if you continue beyond this point you are in for a long and hard day.
