Today's restaurant enjoys a prime location. Situated directly on the palace square, it offers a view of the waterfalls and Ludwigslust Palace, inviting guests to dream and linger. In summer, the outdoor terrace overlooking the palace square and the cascades is highly recommended.
History:
Formerly Fire Station-Orangery-Firehouse
Built 1812-1814 by Court Architect Johann Georg Barac
Used as an orangery, wine and beer cellar, and carriage house
also served to house the fire engines
Converted into an ice cellar in 1890 by Court Architect Willebrand
Renovated in 1991 and 1995, with the left wing converted into a restaurant
