At 79 m, the Segrahner Berg is one of the highest peaks in the area and therefore a natural highlight. The "summit" itself is inconspicuous, but the gravel works are all the more interesting.
The Segrahner Berg is a heavily undulated, wooded hill area of Ice Age origin and comes from the so-called Saale Glaciation. The gravelly sands present there were extracted by hand for centuries and mainly used for road construction.
