The village square in Haberschlacht is a central location in the village and is home to several interesting sights. One of the main attractions is the old wine press, a large classicist building that was built in 1837/38. Originally it served not only as a wine press, but also as a school and town hall, as well as living space for the schoolmaster and his assistants.
