The two saints of the chapel in Böserscheidegg are popular folk saints of the Catholic Church. Saint Anthony is invoked when someone has lost something and is desperately searching for it. The Allgäu folklore says:
Holy Anthony, you brave man,
I've lost something, lead me there!
