Rustic mountain village in a fantastic location, inviting an extended break. The prices for food and drink might be quite touristy, but the Swabian option with Coop and Migros at the entrance to the village also works.

The town hall was built after the village fire of 1560, under Landammann Joachim Meggeli and Landschreiber Moritz Hess, by the master builder Hans Knill. In the past 400 years, it has been restored several times and partially rebuilt inside. The paintings on the front were created in 1927 by the painter August Schmid from Diessenhofen.
