Hiking

In the nature reserve around Lake Korission, which covers a total of around 6,000 hectares, there is a dune landscape, some of which are higher than 15 meters, with the corresponding settlement, as well as a cedar forest. Other notable plants in the nature reserve include reed beds, tamarisks, white lilies and 14 different orchid species. The area is a magnet for various species of butterflies and birds, such as cormorants, great egrets, flamingos, wigeons and other species of ducks. There are also Greek tortoises, European pond turtles, pond turtles, zebra killifish and Valencia killifish. Source: Wikipedia
