Guzianka II will improve traffic on the Great Masurian Lakes by relieving the "old Guzianka", which in the tourist season is crossed by about 15 thousand. units. Every year the number of lovers of relaxation on Masurian lakes increases, which is why it is so important to care for the infrastructure and development of the region's waterways. From June 25 - the day when the Guzianka II lock was opened to tourist traffic, 1000 boats were successfully crossed with the help of the new lock.

Since its inception, the State Water Holding Polish Waters has been investing in a modern and functional hydrotechnical infrastructure, also used by tourists all over the country. An example of such a facility is the new Guzianka II lock, officially opened today, in Ruciane-Nida, connecting the Guzianka Mała and Bełdany lakes. The facility will improve traffic on the shipping route of the Great Masurian Lakes, which is a world-unique waterway, an attraction for sailing enthusiasts and the economic heart and driving force of the development of Masurian towns.
