The Old Town Hall of Germersheim was built around 1750. It is designed as a two-story timber-frame building, has a hipped roof and an octagonal turret with a bulbous dome. An external staircase leads to the upper floor.
It initially served as a salt store, from 1817 to 1842 as the Bavarian regional commissariat, and then until 1972 as the town hall. Today, it houses a music school and, among other things, a law firm.
