Clevedon Pier is a stunning Victorian Pier extending into the Severn Estuary. Designed by J.W Grover and R.J. Ward, the 842 feet-long (256 meters) pier was opened in 1869, making it one of the oldest piers in the UK. The grade I listed structure was renovated during the second half of the 20th century. Today, the pier has many attractions and things to do ranging from fishing to children's' events.

The pier is open from 10am - 5pm (last entry 4.30pm). Tickets for adults cost £3. You can find more information, here: clevedonpier.co.uk

Described by Sir John Betjeman, as "the most beautiful pier in England". Riding up towards Portishead is worth it for the gorgeous views across the Estuary, too!

The pier was built during the 1860s to attract tourists and provide a ferry port for rail passengers to South Wales. The pier is 312 m long and consists of eight spans supported by steel rails covered by wooden decking, with a pavilion on the pier head. It was described by Sir John Betjeman, as "the most beautiful pier in England" and was designated a Grade I listed building in 2001.
