The Sella Nevea pass is located at approximately 1,200 meters in altitude, between Chiusaforte (Italy) and Bovec (Slovenia). In winter you can ski and in summer it becomes a paradise for trekking and cycling. From Sella Nevea you can take the cable car to go up to the Canin plateau, the best-known mountain in Friuli Venezia Giulia at 2,587 meters above sea level.

The climb from Chiusaforte is steeper but shaded and with less traffic than the descent to Tarvisio. I lacked the energy to climb above the station and look for a point of view.
