De Warande is a provincial cultural center in the city of Turnhout and was one of the first cultural centers in Flanders. It includes a theatre, a theater and concert hall ('de Kuub') and several smaller project and stage spaces. De Warande also houses the public library of Turnhout and cultural projects. The name Warande refers to a closed hunting ground of the castle of the dukes of Brabant, which was used as a hunting lodge in the Middle Ages.
