Hiking

The view from the area around the hut is great. You can see the near Rila mountain and the Stara Planina mountain which is a bit far away. It is great to hike from Zheleznitsa village to the hut by following the trail from Zheleznitsa to Cherni Vrah. The place is good to take a rest before you continue to either Cherni Vrah or some other places in the Vitosha mountain. Even though it is relatively popular, this area is not so overcrowded like the Aleko - Cherni Vrah trail, for example.

Hiking

It is hard to reach this hut (steep slope), but there is a good view and in the winter - ski lift.
