Hiking

The approximately six-hectare area was extensively redesigned between 2007 and 2008: the renowned landscape architect Elke Ukas from Karlsruhe planned the new face of the Wertwiesen – with the aim of creating a park-like landscape with a high quality of stay. Generous green spaces, natural areas, path connections, and modern parking facilities were created. What was once a functional area became a place with a real recreational character just a few steps from the city center.

The Wertwiesenpark is a green, spacious oasis directly on the Kocher river and an ideal starting or ending point for tours around Künzelsau. The well-maintained paths, large meadows, and the quiet riverside location make it a relaxed place to take a breath.

Event grounds, parking lot, city park, meeting point, recreational area, … all of this and much more are the "Wertwiesen" for Künzelsau. And there is also a great beer garden with a children's playground!
