Hiking
These stepping stones add a little extra zing of adventure through this woodland, absolutely stunning in summer. Crossing Dick Brook in the Shrawley and Upper Astley Woods, the stones are usable when the stream is low. In winter or after heavy rain, the brook can easily flood. If this is the case, hike east to use the footbridge to cross instead.

Hiking
Alas for most of 2024, the stepping stones are missing, presumably washed away. As mentioned about - footbridge available near where the brook meets the Severn (SO 811 666)
