Hiking
The old country thrives on its fruit cultivation. It's a very large fruit-growing region, highly valued and popular with both tourists and locals. Whether hiking or cycling, it's a favorite destination, especially during the blossom season. But it offers beautiful views in other seasons as well. The farm tracks are very easy to cycle on. Please note that fruit growers have the right of way. Both sides are considerate. A visit is highly recommended 👍🏻.

Today apples, cherries, pears and other fruits ripen on 10,700 hectares. 77 percent of the fruit trees in the Altes Land fruit-growing area are apples and 12.7 percent are cherries.
