Road cycling
HuoLuShan is the climb closest to Guangzhou City. Located in a nice park area with lots of hiking paths. The climb is moderately steep with alternating gradients. Attention needs to be paid to the big speed bumps. The scenery is nice and HuoLuShan can be climbed from three different sides. Gorgeous view over the skyline of Guangzhou on clear days. As of April 2021, access for cyclists is restricted. An early morning or late evening arrival, when there are no guards, may allow to sneak in.
