The first impression of this church is shaped by the slender, arrow-like tower with a pointed roof. If you visit the nave, you will notice the late Gothic style and the matching main altar and two side altars in the neo-Gothic style by Sebastian Stief (1811-89).
The parish village of Tengling was first mentioned as "Tengihilinga" in the late 8th century. But this church was built around 1500.
