The Patras waterfront promenade is the vibrant heart of Greece's third-largest city, serving as a vital link between the city center and the sea. It's not only a transportation hub but also a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike. The area of the old harbor (Molos) at the end of Agios Nikolaos Street is a classic spot for an "volta" (evening stroll), especially to watch the sunset over the sea.

A wide promenade runs along most of the waterfront, allowing pleasant access to piers and viewpoints in the formerly heavily industrialized and inaccessible port area.
