In good weather, a mountain hike to the Hohe Salve (1,829 meters) is recommended, offering a wonderful view.
At the "Salvister-Gondelbahn", only the location of the valley station in Itter (703m) is the same. Otherwise, everything is new: the new 10-person gondolas, the middle station at the Kraftalm - previously the terminus, now the lift line extends to the summit, i.e. the Kleine Salve (1565m) and has continuous summer operation.
