Trou du Diable from Fumay is a climb in the Ardennes region. It is 4.9 kilometers long and covers 265 vertical meters with an average gradient of 5.2%. The top of the climb is at an altitude of 385 meters. The first part in France has a smooth road surface and a separate cycle path. That also runs smoothly. Landscape is that of a typical Ardennes climb, beautiful between the woods.

Very steep indeed, but it is a much better alternative than following the main road! You will be happy to have reached the summit ;) Made it on the gravel bike with 25 kg of luggage.
