Beautiful little church in Vedano Olona before proceeding towards the frog path.

The construction of the church dates back to the year 1577, thanks to the survivors of the plague, as thanks for having been spared.
Enlarged in 1750, decorated in 1853 and restored in 1924. In 1954, a small bell tower and two side chapels were added, dedicated to Santa Rita da Cascia and San Giovanni Bosco.

Every now and then I find it open and I like it because it's simple and quiet. It can be reached from the asphalt road or from the surrounding woods. For me it's a usual and reassuring stopping point.
