The veneration of the blessed Irmengard also seems very lively. Wonderful and worthwhile!

The Frauenchiemsee monastery church, founded in 782, is a worthwhile destination on the Fraueninsel in the Chiemsee. The relic of St. Irmgard should definitely be seen on a tour of the church. Can be found behind the main altar. The neat tower and the monastery grounds are also picturesque from the outside 🙂
