Hiking
The Sankert is a small wetland south of the Flünnertzdyk. Divided into individual areas marked with numbers, the Sankertgraben represents the main receiving water for the eastern Hülser Bruch. Of the total length of 21 kilometers, the Sankertgraben takes up almost four kilometers. The Sankert flows into the Niepkuhlen in two places, Lus Bell and Heyenbaumstrasse. It therefore represents an important link between the Niepkuhlen and Hülser Bruch nature reserves. Both are outstanding protected areas.
