Villa Cerchiari, also Gualdo, Branzo Loschi, Munari, is located in the inhabited center of Isola Vicentina and is currently the seat of the Municipal Library of Isola Vicentina in its 18th century manor house.
The Cerchiari family had its heyday in the first half of the eighteenth century, after Giovanni Marzio (Gianmarzio) Cerchiari, archaeologist and writer, bought a place in the Vicenza sheepfold council (1658).
His son Carlo had it built in 1722, perhaps by the architect Muttoni, the Villa in Isola Vicentina.
