From the Roches Noires, you can enjoy a 180-degree panorama over Comblain-au-Pont and the Ourthe valley. This point of view is called "black rocks" because the rocks present are made up of dolomite, a variety of limestone with a rather dark patina.

The Roches Noires (*The Black Rocks) nature reserve dominates an old meander of the Ourthe, north of Comblain-au-Pont. The name of the place is apt because the dolomitic limestone it is made of has a very dark color.
