Nordic walking

Seeheim-Jugenheim and Malchen are on the western slope of the Vorderen Odenwald, which forms the transition to the Rhine Valley. The sun-drenched slopes have been used for growing fruit and wine for a long time. Stone fruit was mainly grown here for self-sufficiency and for sale. While viticulture has increased significantly on the southern Bergstrasse in recent decades, between Seeheim and Malchen the traditional form of cultivation with orchards and orchards has been preserved in some cases. Most of its economic importance, however, has been lost.
