At the corner of Lüneburger Straße and Konrad-Adenauer-Straße stands the Scottish wedding mill, affectionately known here as "Lady Devorgilla." It is not an original, however, but a replica of the mill in Corbey Hill, Scotland. The original is located in Dumfries, Gifhorn's twin city in Scotland. The mill can be booked as a romantic backdrop for weddings. Should the bride and groom say "I do," the windmill sails will turn—for this sole purpose.
