Hiking

The Hüttenteich is an artificial pond between 1550 - 1560 between Brand-Erbisdorf and Berthelsdorf. The hut pond is the lowest reservoir in the cascade of the Revierwasserlaufanstalt, which is operated by the state dam administration. It gives its water to the Münzbach and in the past to the now defunct "Turmhof-Kunstgraben".
