Soiron is one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia. The locality has many old Renaissance-style houses. The keep of the church dates back to the beginning of the 11th century, with a 14th century bell tower. The village is one of the twelve villages listed in the brochure Villages of character published by the Province of Liège (Wikipedia)

If you walk from Cornesse to the village of Soiron, you will reach this beautiful descent path on the last hill, past colorful flowering hedges. From the descent path you will repeatedly have beautiful views down to the village and the church.
