Hiking
The Van Esscheven is a large fen that you can walk all the way around.
Enjoy the view over the water, walk through the woods and be surprised by the special combination of forest, heathland and fens in this area.

The municipality of Oisterwijk donated this bank to Van Tienhoven (chairman of nature monuments), as a thank you for his dedication to Oistereijk nature.

Hiking
Near Oisterwijk you will find the Oisterwijkse Bossen en Vennen, a varied forest area with attractive fens and hidden heathlands. Lovely to walk through. There are vistas everywhere and you can dream away at the pools on one of the many benches. Sturdy walkers can continue walking in the adjacent nature reserve Kampina.
