It's a shop with a typical setting of the late nineteenth century, early twentieth century. "While you are deciding whether to choose the pasticciotto with cream or the one filled with almonds spread on a thin layer of jam, look at the historical documents hanging on the wall: that are the proof that the pasticciotto was born here, precisely in this pastry shop, in 1745 ". Infact was precisely Nicola Ascalone that three centuries ago, almost by chance, invented a pastry that would later have had an extraordinary fame.
