Cycling

On the dike at Vlijmen, next to the cycle path in the form of a ship's bow, you will find a viewing point where you have a beautiful view over the Vlijmen polder.

Cycling

If you are walking or cycling on the dike between Vlijmen and Nieuwkuyk, you will find the viewpoint next to this path. This looks like a ship's bow and from there you have a beautiful view of the Vlijmense polder.

Cycling

At Vlijmen, the connection is needed between Moerputten, Vugtse Gement towards the Engelermeer and the Maas. The Baardwijkse spillway plays an important role in connecting the Loonse and Drunense Duinen with the polders and floodplains of the Bergse Maas. The bottleneck was partially resolved between 2005 and 2008.
